Jennifer DeSana, Career Consultant

Jennifer DeSana has a diverse background in career development and career education. She was Sr. Program Manager for the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University where she managed two graduate programs for the School of Accountancy, including providing career consulting for students and managing a campus recruiting program.   Additionally, she has developed and taught numerous courses in career development and success strategies.

Jennifer was the Assistant Director at Indiana University’s Arts and Sciences Placement Office and Career Development Center where she worked with numerous students and community members on career management issues, interpreted career assessments and conducted career workshops.

She has presented at the National First Year Experience Conference, Indiana Career Development Conference and many local symposiums. She was a contributing author in Choices and Challenges: Charting Your Career Path.

Jennifer has received certification training in the Strong Interest Inventory, WOWI, and MBTI.

Previously, Jennifer taught K-12 special education students outside of Detroit, MI and on the Navajo Indian Reservation. 

Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a master’s degree in Counseling/Counselor Education from Indiana University.  

Kamil Gutierrez, Administrative Assistant III

Kamil Gutierrez has over 10 years of experience in Administrative and Customer Service roles. Her background includes a non-profit agency as a Counselor Advocate, in private sector as a Franchise Operations Assistant and in the public sector as an Administrative Assistant in three different agencies: the Department of Revenue, the Department of Corrections and the Department of Economic Securities. 

Kamil holds an Associate of Science degree in Massage Therapy graduating with a 4.0 GPA and receiving several Academic Excellence awards. She is also a licensed massage therapist and provides therapeutic massage in her spare time.

Kamil also enjoys writing poetry, children’s books, short stories and sketching.
